Artur Pizarro, one of Portugal’s most acclaimed pianists, returns to Porto Pianofest for its 10th edition, having inaugurated the festival’s very first concert in 2016. In this special recital, Pizarro takes the audience on a unique musical journey through Mediterranean and South American landscapes, with works by Rodrigo, Malipiero, Mompou, Guastavino, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and Ginastera. The concert will be held at a brand new venue for the festival — the Paços do Concelho of Porto’s City Hall — promising a memorable evening with a true master of the piano.
