The concerts of the Artist Residency Series are the culmination of the participation of young and brilliant pianists who come to the festival to work with the great artist faculty of Porto Pianofest. These pianists come to the festival to develop their technical and musical skills, prepare for tours, recordings, important concerts, and to make their art known to the world.

Due to the WOW - Porto Pianofest partnership, we are proud to also offer the opportunity to undergo a guided tour at the exposition “The Dynamic Eye” in the new Atkinson Museum 1 hr prior to the concert.

The Dynamic Eye, Beyond Optical and Kinetic Art – Exhibition from the Tate Collection:

More than 100 works by international artists of Op Art and Kinetic Art. With paintings, sculptures, works on paper, films, and installations from the 1950s and 1960s, the exhibition with the largest number of works traveling from Tate to Portugal can be seen until September 30th.
